Sidewinders Game – 8/08/08

I got home from work tired. Glad it was Friday thinkin’ I would take a nap. I had just got off the phone with my Dad, which is always cool, and it rang again. It was my son Michael! He is doing his job training in the Army at nearby Fort Huachuca. Turns out they were getting treated to a surprise trip to the Tucson Sidewinders game! Cool! So, I drink a Rockstar (energy drink if you don’t know) to wake up, swing by the ATM to grab a $20, and drive to the game!

We hung out the whole game and met a couple of his “Battle Buddies” too. Very upstanding young men all of them. The Sidewinders lost, but I really didn’t watch much of the game. Lots of soldiers in the stands from Fort Huachuca. I think they brought three buses full.
