Climbing Pusch Peak

This is the mountain across the street from my apartments. Pusch Peak is the shortest of the Catalina Mountains at just over 5,300 feet. The trail starts at around 2,700, so it’s quite a climb! The pictures flatten out the terrain and only give a taste of the awesome views along the way and at the top. I’ll probably be sore all week, but it was well worth the climb!!!

Just starting out. The trailhead is on Linda Vista, just up the road a piece.

The first “Saddle” is about 1/3 of the way up. AWESOME views of Oro Valley from here!

Half way up! Maybe more.

Just awesome views of Oro Valley way below.
