Just say no to higher energy prices. Especially when you consider the Earth is getting cooler, not warmer. The computer models that some scientists and the U.N. are using to predict a global catastrophe are fatally flawed. Even as CO2 continues to rise (not nearly at the rate the global warming models predicted) temperatures have been FALLING for the past almost 8 years. A tax on energy would cause all products and services to be more expensive. Electricity bills would necessarily skyrocket, the President tells us. Climate Change Seen as Threat to National Securty?
Give me a break, New York Times, or better yet, give me a break Congress:
The Department of Defense’s assessment of the security issue came about after prodding by Congress to include climate issues in its strategic plans
How about the $700-billion a year the United States exports to nations that sell us oil?
Think about that. What this article is saying is that the current administration is more concerned about warming predicted by a computer model that hasn’t gotten it right yet, then it is about our dependence on foreign oil. One only needs to look at bankrupt California to see the results of promoting green energy while NOT allowing drilling for natural resources.
“But what about the climate Mike?,” you might ask. Thanx for asking. Official measurements of the atmosphere by NASA show no warming since 1997 even as CO2 concentrations have risen. During the 80′s and 90′s, ice caps on Mars shrank! My opinion (and that of many solar scientists and many scientists in general) is that any warming, and cooling, we’ve seen in the past was driven by the Sun.
Climate Change isn’t a threat to national security. Rather, it’s these backward policies that are putting the country in danger.
Meanwhile, fewer and fewer American’s think global warming is a problem.

This was taken in the midst of the biggest snow in 40 years in Western Oregon. I thought it might be fun to come up with some fun captions:

and in the Boston Globe. Seems that anxiety is on the rise as some in the worldwide media hype so called “Global Warming.”
Last year, an anxious, depressed 17-year-old boy was admitted to the psychiatric unit at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. He was refusing to drink water. Worried about drought related to climate change, the young man was convinced that if he drank, millions of people would die. The Australian doctors wrote the case up as the first known instance of “climate change delusion.”
Yes, this an extreme case, but the article goes on to say that nervousness over
“extreme weather events, such as droughts, floods, cyclones, and hurricanes, can lead to emotional distress”
is on the rise.
OK. I have documented again and again that “Global Warming” was really Solar Warming and now the Sun is getting quieter, the Earth is now cooling. Still, the Boston Globe says,
“Climate change is expected to create about 200 million environmental refugees by 2050, according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the international body established within the United Nations to evaluate causes and consequences of global warming.”
Even if this were true (which it’s not!) Jesus said, DON’T WORRY!
Matthew 6:33-34
33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Does the Bible have anything to say about “Global Warming?” A couple of things indirectly. In Revelation it’s clear that it’s will heat up dramatically for a short time:
Revelation 16:8-9
8 The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire.
9 Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.
Look closely. Even when God will pour out His wrath on the planet, it will be solar warming! No mention of CO2 or methane gas here.
Still concerned about “Global Warming?” Consider what God says in Genesis 8:22:
22“While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
And cold and heat,
And summer and winter,
And day and night
Shall not cease.”
I guess Dick Cheney was right when he said he believed in global warming. It’s called Spring and Summer!
The President Doesn’t Believe Global Warming!
The President of Czechoslovakia that is. In a Brietbart.com story, Czech President Vaclav Klaus attacked Al Gore for not considering differing views:
Referring to the former US vice president, who attended Davos this year, he added: “I’m very sorry that some people like Al Gore are not ready to listen to the competing theories. I do listen to them.
By the way, Davos is reporting good ski conditions.
